Asia-Pacific Camera Phone Market Will Top 600 Million Units in 2010, Says New Lyra

Lyra Research forecasts that the installed base of camera phones in the Asia-Pacific region will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21.9 percent from 2005 to 2010, topping 600 million camera phones in 2010. While camera phone adoption in Japan and Korea has been firmly established, China and India represent two emerging markets poised for explosive growth.

Hanging There


According to NPR Radio: Technology, Podcast from 10/11/2006, Google acquired YouTube although they had their own Google Video because Google did not figure out a way to capture their audience and keep them on their site.
They needed amoung other things a way to keep users "hanging there"
A very interesting reason to buy for $1,65B a site that does not generate revenues yet.
So I guess we will have to figure out a way, at www.clickova.com to keep our user to "hang out there". Ideas? Please use the comment section to send ideas.
